Peace and Equality are not gender specific in my estimation, even remotely. I do wish it was that way. I say this as a woman who's dated both women, and men, and by far the worst abuser in one of my few abusive relationships was my girlfriend.
I found it difficult to find support in my situation because of that very stereotype.
Many womens groups and I do mean many, simply did not want to admit that abuse between same sex partners existed.
