Yeah, wind - I love it. But not at THOSE temperatures. Brrr! With all the huge trees & mountainous & hilly terrain here, we don't get much wind. If I lived close to the ocean, I would but...

I believe wind is healing in some way. I've watched people & we can't help but wanting to look at moving objects. The way everyone gathered around a campfire stares at the dancing flames, or even with a commerical muted, people continue to stare at the TV. Our eyes are rested & our minds relax with watching something move. Even when it's still out, there's birds that fly by, clouds drift -sometimes slow but often quickly. Leaves turn & twist or blow about, bugs buzz - it somehow feels right that our environment around us should move.

I think we suffer from a sensory deprivation indoors when nothing moves. We see but there's no change. It's like sounds. A constant sound is irritating but varied sounds are relaxing on the whole, if not too loud or grating. Man! We sure can screw up the world/environment we live in - no wonder we don't function properly.

P.S. How long did you stand in the street enjoying the wind? Bet if the neighbours saw you, they'd be sure you're crazy! ^_*
I have this mental pix of you with arms outstretched, head thrown back, just taking it all in while the wind whips about you. Very nice!
