from my understanding, brain mapping is not a treatment for depression, but an attempt to 'fingerprint' the brain by reading is electrical signals. right now it's being used tentatively in court to determine if someone has prior knowledge of a crime -- or in other words, if they're lying. It only has as much validity as a lie-detector test right now, which means: not much.
i am so sorry that you're depressed. i'm often depressed myself. what are you doing for help? i'm on an antidepressant, have to avoid caffeine, and work on eating well/exercising to keep it all balanced. that helps.
