Remember our depression and comorbid disorders party? Well, the ratty bathrobe that I would have worn finally bit the dust. On top of its usual bedraggled state (picture floral flannel, garish to begin with, unevenly faded, permanently yellowed around the neckline), I got some red dye on it, then it ripped out under the arm. So... after much web-surfing and some dismal failed mall excursions, I got a new men's flannel robe from Target. Only $15.99 and 100% cotton. (The thing that annoys me is all the comparable robes from the women's dept were twice the price and part synthetic. Blatant discrimination!) The print could be better, but it's cozy and pleasantly oversized. Since I spend the majority of my time at home in a bathrobe, this counts as a major lifestyle enhancement.
