Un-evolving: got to remember that.
Don't get angry now! Set a time with them to talk. Maybe meet at a cafe or something.
Look them in the eyes and tell them you have no choice in the matter of sexuality and even if you were dating giraffes, it's none of their business. Tell them to stop with the passive-aggressive BS because you've got better things to do than be screwed with by your own homophobic family.
Their attitude towards you is immature, hateful, stupid, and in the case of gay men mostly, it can get you killed.
I'd try to keep a level, no bullshit voice and not get too visably emotional about it. Then tell them if they continue, you won't see them again. Nobody deserves the treatment you are getting.
Maybe you could say you'd rather be gay than stupid but it would probably be lost on them.
It's hard to believe but that happens so much, being gay brings out the worst in morons. In almost 2003, society still has yet to understand sexuality and still discriminates against their own brothers and sisters and sons and daughters. It's one of the worst of our downfalls and not just 'stupid people'. It's across the board.
