bitter medicine

Posted by Medusa on September 2, 2002, at 14:17:53

well I've figured out, some things I don't like doing help me to feel a bit better if I stick with them. Taking SSRIs (has worked occasionally), exercise, vitamins, nutrition.

And the latest discovery - DOing hard stuff, like making phone calls and asking for resume help.

I hate this. But it looks like stepping into the fear is the fastest way to feeling better.

SSSSCCCCCCCRREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAMMMMMM!!!!!!!

I want to feel better but I have so much anxiety and am so afraid of screwing up.

I feel like working hard to get better eliminates all outside help. If I'm not falling down in ditches, I look like I'm going to make it okay on my own. I haven't used depression and anxiety as an attention-getter - if I'd been playing that game, I'd have given up long ago.

rambly but desperate and angry,

M
