I understand what you're saying about family, friends and co-workers. I'm basically a hermit so I avoid all humans whenever possible.

That certainly covers it all. They should include those in the DSM.
I came up with a new diagnostic category today too that pretty much covers everything I have: Blue Hell disorder. It sounds like your wife might have that too, or something close to it.
