Hi Tina
Yes I do, its like homesickness for me but 1000 times stronger, a drawstring in the stomach. Absolutely agonizing. If it goes on for a long time thats when I end up in the hospital.
I'm really tired today, so this isn't as friendly as it should be, but I didn't want to wait to write because then you might have felt more alone.
I've had that feeling since I was a child, and I was also known as the girl who never smiled because of it.
As an adult I know that benzodiazepines are the only thing that get me through it, unfortunately they can also have a rebound affect which makes it worse. PterS and were talking about it under the "depression and dignity" subject he gets it too, especially after a short nap, as do I.
I've heard it may have something to do with a drop in cortisol levels while you sleep, but sometimes I just go "screw it" I'm tired of analyzing my life to death I'm tired I'm taking a nap! As if I'm somehow "rebelling" against myself and of course I'm the loser. Its a very typical symptom of depression. But that is small comfort.Sorry I wasn't really any help
But I meant well
Take care Tina
