Oh dear I've wondered about that sheepish grin thing myself, perhaps its because people think sheep are timid and therefore a shy timid grin is sheepish? I also wondered about the expression
which I don't like but have heard "shit eating grin" but then I found out where that came from.Now as for the sheep attending Harvard...... boy I could fill a whole board on that. How does one define intelligence? At one time many "Harvard" and other University graduates would have believed that White people were smarter than Black people because the I.Q tests had questions about culturally relative things, like names of Artists, etc.
Now how many Harvard grads does it take to destroy the earth and then help perpetuate a society which those on the "lower" rungs are incapable of escaping and yet find intolerable.
Mankind being what it is is hardly going to define intelligence by anything but the standards human beings can adhere to. They can hardly imagine a God that doesn't reflect their current standards.
Gee whiz.... You know I know you've probably thought this all yourself, and were just trying to make a lighthearded joke, and then my brain went and unspooled all over the page, and yet I hate it when I make a comment in a lighthearted way and somebody who should know me better will suddenly pick out the one possibly un-politically correct way my statement could have been taken, and then I sigh with resentment, and I giveupness.
And then I go and do it to you.... would you believe this is my own sadistic way of kidding around.... it is.Forgive me?
