But, I think I've used this before: you can no more be sure of how someone feels, or what will make them feel better than you can know what the taste of an apple is to them.
Its like trying to use logic or proof to convince someone that they like the way something looks when they despise it. I know that I can prevent a relapse by having a good time.
I also know that during a major depressive episode I'm completely unable to feel pleasure. no amount of what I had previously considered fun will pull me out of it. NOTHING. The pleasure centre of my soul or brain, is paralyzed broken.I know that you aren't trying to sound holier than though, and I mean this a lot more lightly and affectionately than it will look in type I'm sure but I reality is subjective.
'We don't see things as they ARE but as we are'. Thought sounds so definate as to be a contradiction of my point.Having a great time is therapy; what it consists of is personal. Why try and convince someone that a cure for you is a cure for everyone.
And not pertaining to your letter.
Is it not a bit unreasonable to have people posting on a board devoted to mental illness (a bandaid term I know) to not show symptoms of it in their posts.And no the party is not girls only its for Women only. :):):)
