All night I could not sleep
because of the moonlight on my bed.
I kept on hearing a voice calling:
Out of Nowhere, Nothing answered "yes."

Since this body
was forgotten
by the one who promised to come,
my only thought is wondering
whether it even exists.
This body
grown fragile, floating,
a reed cut from its roots...
If a stream would ask me
to follow, I'd go, I think.

just continuing to unravel here so that other more harmful methods of coping don't become enticing.
