It wasn't gross at all.
Do you feel like you're getting more stable on your lower dose now? I would definitely wait to make any major decisions about your relationship until you're feeling pretty solid.
It's good that you were able to discuss this stuff at all - probably the best thing to do is keep talking - you can never really resolve anything of this magnitude in one conversation.
