I noticed that Scared's posts are so dramatically critical and judgemental, and I mean that in the nicest possible way, it can't be real, right?
You have set up an experimental situation in which an associate posts as "the wicked stepmother" from fairy tales, saying those types of archetypal and stereotypically nonsupportive things to see if other participants here would do anything. Perhaps hypothesizing that by your modeling "civility" we posters might be more likely to follow your lead and encourage others to be civil. Right?
