Lili - if this is the same pdoc, why are you even paying attention to him? Clearly, he's dumb as a rock. Really reminds me of my old one (been on four meds...sounds like it's time for ECT! Nevermind that it may not be the best thing for me...).
In my experience, therapists often have a better feel for what a person is capable of, needs, etc., typically b/c they spend more time with us.
I sincerely hope you find a new GOOD pdoc asap. In the meantime, take care of yourself.
