I set myself up for lots of stuff constantly :-)
I ate unpeeled boiled shrimp for two hours once while everybody was peeling theirs and when asked how the shrimp was I just said "well I think it could have been cooked a little more thoroughly". Well, it took a minute or two to kickin that I had watched everybody else peeling, and didn't do it and that everybody else watched me *not* peeling and didn't notice. Chalk it up to ADHD. Everytime someone looked at me the rest of the evening everyone just broke up laughing.

> So who's top-notch in the banjo department? I like Doc and Merle Watson, and the Nashville Bluegrass Band, but could use a few more of that uplifting picking in my rather solemn cd collection. There was a cool band in town called the Bad Livers who did a lot of punk rock bluegrass, are you familiar w/ the genre? If so, any suggestions are appreciated.

I finally got the "Essential Doc Watson" a few weeks ago. That was back in my last depressive episode! I wasn't really that depressed but my music tastes are just so bizzarro diverse depending on my mood. I guess I should qualify the statement "banjo freak", it really should be "accoustic freak", that is depending on what time of year it is. The "Pizza Tapes" (Garcia,Grisman,Rice) is pretty good. But, something must have happened because I got Nine Inch Nails live CD back during a mild mixed episode. Then I chilled out some and then I was into Chemical Brothers... Now I am listening to the Best of Badfinger..

And that doesn't count the music that plays in my head nearly all day!

Mitch

Punk rock bluegrass?? That sounds interesting. The closest thing I have to that is Meat Puppets.
