ahh, little mouse, I want to wipe the tears from your soft fur. My youngest (19) moved out last September. He's not too far away but I miss him still so much. It was him who said he was a "little Judy", except that he's bigger than me. He could make me laugh so easily & said the silliest things to get me going. He's also the most incredibly sad people I know & I hurt for him so much. At least when he was home, I could feed him well. He's lost 25 lb since moving away & he was thin to begin with.
No husband to fall back on & my son was always there to talk with. He knew me so well. I know I have to let go & it wouldn't be so hard if he was well, but he only seems to get bleaker & sadder each time I see him.
Your little one will come back. Thank goodness for e-mail & ICQ-type messaging.
PS- Few will probably agree but I think the innocence can still be there. Maybe not the naivity, but still, one can be innocent at heart.
