The nature of threads like this is that they can, and have taken on a nature of their own and may veer away from the original poster's content.
The problem is, anything that is said is interpreted by the original poster as having some relation to what they originally posted.
I'm with you, I'm making my attempts to back out of this neverending quagmire as quickly as possible... Generaly, my posts in this thread are directed at the group as a whole, not the original poster.
