I like very much what you said, Cam, about public discussion. I agree completely, particularly in matters of spirit and philosophy. If I may add a very low-brow analogy to answer Krazy Kat's fears about spreading a cult. Ever listen to the late-night radio show hosted by Art Bell ("Coast to Coast AM")? He is famous (or infamous) for having guests who talk about, do research on, etc, UFOs, aliens, crop circles, the paranormal, spiritual matters, out of body experiences, etc, etc.. No matter how far-out the guests may sound (and sometimes they are astounding) Art engages them in discussion. Just as there is strength and wisdom in numbers, there is a similar wisdom in not dismissing people or ideas out of hand. Sometimes the most challenging discussions are the most interesting. Plus, strong ideas tend to hold up well under discussion while the weaker ones, well....
