Each individual with Asperger is a special, completely unique personality. They can't be placed in a neat little category, so if you exhibit diffferent ideas than others with Asperger, it's to be expected.

Its too good a point to ignore but I know what you mean because I am quite aware of it at the meetings I attend. Obsessions in certain areas is not uncommon and a lot of us share different interests. Sometimes group members can come into conflict as to what another person is saying which they might not find comfortable. The problems we each encouter are different. One member is almost bordering on being autistic and finds it difficult to communicate with other people because hes very much in his own "world", another member is very shy, although another has what I perceive as a different anxiety problem which appears to be more general. So I know what you mean. Its good that you pointed out that can make each person with Aspergers unique but what is difficult is that you can still find it difficult to understand others problems and for you to express your own and for them to understand.
Thanks,
PaulB
