I'm sorry you've been sick - I had noticed your absence. This is not very responsive to your post, but I just wanted to say that I thought Katharine Graham's autobiography was one of the best I've ever read. I was actually sorry to come to the last page.I was really struck by how much she had to overcome to be successful, including her own crippling lack of self confidence, and how she was able to accomplish this at an age where people don't feel up to significant changes.
Anyway - I'm glad you're reading it.

PS: Stop speculating about your diagnosis at least until your next appointment with your pdoc. I'd bring up with him the conncetions you were making in the book.
