I've wondered about this also so I'm sorry to see that no one has posted an answer yet. During the years that other women were having children I was fighting mental illness. Now that it looks like I may be winning it is probably too late. And nothing I've heard about the screening done on adoptive parents is particularly encouraging. Yet another loss to be bitter about. - Jane
