I knew a couple who named their dog "Dammit". You know "get over here, Dammit! Don't beg, Dammit! Dammit, get the frisbee!" I guess they ripped this off from a Bill Cosby standup number. After a while, this got old, and they renamed him "Thang". "What a good little Thang he is, oh yes! Little Thangy-doggie-woogie-poo!" I don't know what was worse. Dammit/Thang was pretty thick, even for a dog, and didn't seem to care either way. Nothing anyone called him or said to him had much of an effect on what he did. He was just a big dumb, happy mutt, and if you scratched his belly, he was transported to nirvana. I guess that somehow relates back to the karma thing. I'm rambling. Carry on with your discussion.
