Her success means so much to me, and I think perhaps to many other sufferers of depression and bipolar illnesses, here on PSB and PBabble, who have read her work, and who respect her a great deal. She has published scientific articles, a memoir of her bipolar illness, and a new book on suicide. She is a psychiatrist at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, and is 55 years old. Her contributions to the understanding of the illnesses we suffer from, and her courage and intelligence, are an inspiration. What an impressive woman!
ever yours,
Wendy
