Hi, I'm new here, and looking for some information

Glad I found this board ! I've been reading alot, mostly about meds. for the past two years I never seem to crawl past the mark of thinking dead may be better than this kind of life. 2 weeks ago found a new pdoc and he started me on effexor combined with my old Welbutrin (even tho it is apparently not effective). My question may be dumb,please don't laugh, but it has been so long since I felt good, what kind of results should I expect once I get the right meds? Will I feel some drive for life again? Laugh spontaneously ?Look forward to something.. anything ! I've been living in this hole for so long I need something to look forward to.
