> My doc throws his arms up in the air and says he has no idea (as I have been on just about every AD). My specialist suggests if Cipromil (been on for 4 weeks now) doesn't work, will have to try Parnate or similar. Prior to Cipromil, was on Tolvon (Mianserin Hydrochloride) for several months and it never kicked in, and prior to that Auroxic (Moclobemide) x 900mg per day, that did work for a fair few months, but gradually became infective, so they propped it up with Li, which did nothing but create some bad reactions.
> I have read some of the posts here about Parnate (and Nardil??), seems to be effective for some.. It would be real nice just to have a window of relief for a while, so any suggestiosn would be greatly appreciated.

I sympathize greatly, even though I haven't been on all the meds you have...Your post seems more suited to the other half of this same Board, just Psych-Babble (plain vanilla), at:
http://www.dr-bob.org/babble/(in other words, don't attach 'social' to the end)
... and see what the real hard-core meds people think. Elizabeth and Cam W., in my own opinion, seem to have the most useful information in cases like yours.
Sincerely,
and hope you find what you need,Wendy
