Here's my prescription for you meanwhile you are waiting for your meds to kick in:
* lights out by midnight, alarm set for 10am
* rent a good movie for each day, (I just saw 3000 miles to Graceland and enjoyed it)
* pick one simple chore to do each day and do it even if you don't feel like it
* if you smoke, go outside to smoke
* sit outside twice a day for an hour
* if you nap during the day, set an alarm or have someone wake you up in an hour
* phone a friend, or ask one to visit you each day, and ask about their plans
* start keeping a journal
* (my favourite) make "to do lists," the time limit for your goals can be indefinite
* mark on a calender 6 weeks and three months, by this time you should see improvementAre you getting counselling? I call it talk therapy. It isn't a cure but sure helps.
