I finally went in a week late... on a friday. I received no care other than dishing out of pills the whole weekend (put it down to being a weekend) then on the monday (still not seen a doc!) they had to close the ward as our water supply got heavily contaminated, so i got sent home! Returned on wednesday and got a huge 5 minutes with a pdoc... then at 6pm they finally tell me they haven't got a bed for me as they accidently gave it away... I return friday and spend all day there AGAIN, to see a pdoc for another 5 minutes and then sent home!!! I have been reffered to a Psychotherapist, but it will be at least 12 weeks before I get the initial appointment!!! Also I got refferred to the day hospital (a weeks wait they said!) but I still haven't heard anything about it!!! So, all in all, nothing what so ever happened!!! I am starting to slowly remove myself off the effexor so that when I see a new pdoc (this week apparently, but heard nothing!) I can try a med change.
Health care in the UK is turning into a total joke!!!!!!!
