Welcome RG,
Don't worry about having something good to say this week. Most doctors and therapists know that depression comes without a real reason most of the time. Some depressions can be linked back to a main source but often it is a state of mind that is very difficult to shake. We all have some type of unbalance in our brains that make things tough on us.
You may want to look up some stuff on the web about SAD ( seasonal Affective disorder) since you think that may be part of your problem. There are sights and therapies that strictly address this part of depression.
Are you under a doctor's care for depression? or is your therapist a doctor? You may want to discuss meds with someone who can prescribe them.
Depression comes in all shapes and sizes. The best that you can hope for is to identify your symptoms and look for a treatment that will address those particular symptoms. Everyone's depression is unique and our help comes from differtn places.
Pleas post after your appointment so we know how it went.

> I'm just trying out this message board. I was looking up stuff on antidepressants online and this web site came up. It's fascinating, kinda. I've been in this depressed stand-still of my life for the past few months... I suspect it's seasonal. I'm in MN, so go figure. Anyway, I'm trying to get my bearings- I made an appointment to see a therapist this Monday. I'm apphrehensive; I feel like there's no major crises in my life right now to safely pinpoint my depression. Silly, but I qualify for a grant, so I'm not paying anything for this counseling. I feel like I should have something really _good_ to say to the therapist, so as not to waste her time. Sigh.
