I perform at Renaissance Fairs with a music group (and it is a hassle for me to lug my couch around!). Anon was used then (1550's ) to mean later (we will meet anon) and anent means right now (we must go anent).
I have promised to stop innuendoing anent--right now. This is of course deeply disappointing to the HC. I may have to locate different Lumptonian quarters on the wrong side of the tracks. I have often been disapproved of for being too frisky.

As the keeper of the archives, language is your specialty but I am highly intelligent, well educated and can speak and write using more than one syllable per word .... except when in my purest Lump form. Does an "anent" have any connection to the innuendoes that are flying around? (Is flying allowed by Lumps???)
