In the '60s and '70s I thought he was terrific. But now I live 30 minutes away from him (he's in Winsted, CT) and know his ego gets in the way and he sometimes causes more harm than good. Actually, JL can match RN in the integrity department. And I pretty much think TEAM GORE will TRY to do the things I would like to see done.
I've always been interested in politics...from my first election when I thought I would get to reelect JFK...even before that. When I was ten years old, I wanted Adlai to win because I thought he was the smartest, and he had holes in his shoes. Go figure.
I really do think the result of the election will make a big difference in our future.
