> DariDari- what does EMDR stand for? I know most common behavioral technique for overcoming PTSD is a process by which you gradually expose yourself to the source of your trauma - starting with something that's directly related but a pretty safe distance from the source of the trauma, gradually, in steps, working up to confronting the raw source very directly. Is this what you're talking about? If so, it has worked for me partially - meaning that i have been able to go through the steps more than once, but since the source of my trauma is something i continually need to face, sometimes i can't even get myself to the first step, sometimes i turn back in the middle, sometimes at the end, and sometimes i make it all the way through. Are we talking about the same thing. If so, i'll be happy to say more; if not, please describe EMDR. Hope this helps. Caroline
