Rainee62,

Would you mind tell me a little more about yourself? When you say things seemed to get better, could you be more specific? had there been times when the relationship was more strained?

I wondered if something other than your husband's going out has changed recently?

Being the mother of three children and coping with difficult moods is a great accomplishment. It seems ordinary-- but it isn't.

How long is your husband gone? Socializing and being gone for a week at a time seem to me very different things.

Have you used any medications, or tried therapy?

I'm very sorry things seem dismal or discouraging. I've had times when I've been afraid of being abandoned by my Significant Other (we've been together for a long time, through difficult periods), and I see in retrospect that much of it was my fears, not his intention.

If you're being left alone for periods of time, though, that seems like a lot, unless both of you are secure and comfortable in it.

Jost
