he reassured me 4 times this afternoon that he didn't just get it for me because of the argument. I know, too. He's been asking me for a LONG time.

He said he just wanted to do something nice for me, because he thinks I work hard, and I travel a lot, and deserve it.

We had a really nice lunch at a restaurant. And we held hands when we walked back to the car.

He asked me if I was a lot happier when I found the headphones in my bag. I said- I was already happy when you dropped me off at the door and called me your "precious vegetable". (don't worry- not like a brain-dead vegetable. my nickname means Baby-melon in his language)

babymelon/gourd/cucumber/pumpkin, whatever that vegetable is called?

just holding hands is good enough for me. I dont need a fancy gift to feel connected. It's been 10 days together, and a month separation before that since I felt it. finally. last night when he smoothed my hair and kissed my forehead did I feel like my barrier to feeling connected had been broken down. (((((emotional connection)))))

I'm gonna go snuggle now.
