"Divorcing parents" is for minor children. Once you are of age, which it seems you are, Matt, you are already "divorced". Your parents are no longer responsible for your care or actions, legally. You hold the responsiblity for yourself now.
As long as you remain a student, you are eligible to remain on your parents' insurance up to age 24 in most states. As others have stated, if your parents choose not to keep you on their insurance, you likely would have options for continuing this coverage under current COBRA laws, though you will have to pay for it, and it the price will go up.
Alternatives would be purchasing student health insurance if your school has that available, or finding a job which offers health benefits (usually only to full time employees). Or you might be able to switch to your father's insurance plan if your mother and step-father were to decide not to continue to carry you on theirs for whatever reason.
Please talk about this with your therapist. He or she should be able to help you figure out what the best course of action is. He or she can also help you figure out what is and what is not within your locus of control, and help you focus your energy on what you can control. Your therapist can also help you with finding advisors regarding your insurance status, so that when you choose to, you can start being responsible for your own healthcare decisions and follow-through.
Take care,
gg
