Hi Irish,
It might take some work, but I hope you can communicate to your guy that your moodiness is not directed at him. It's a problem that you're having in all parts of your life right now, because you are sick with an illness called major depression. If you broke your leg and were in pain and using crutches, you'd be grumpy and bitter and difficult too. Ask yourself whether your guy would stick around for you in this case?Of course any major illness is going to put a strain on your relationship, but it's also an opportunity for your guy to demonstrate how committed he is.
Is it possible that you are feeling kind of down on yourself, and don't consider yourself loveable? Maybe you are rejecting his attempts to help you out because you feel unworthy?
My advice to you is to regularly check in with your guy and ask him how *he's* doing. And if you discover that he's truly ambivalent about staying with you, he might not be a good boyfriend for you (even on your sunny days)
