My wife always calls me a "drama queen."
My life is very full of drama and I am the one who decides how dramatic it is. I am in control of how I percieve and react to things. I like drama though. Maybe I should have pursued a career in the entertainment business. I am sort of a comedian, too. (You probably figured that one out by now.) So what I do is purposely "over-dramatize" situations.
Myfavorite thing is to "stage" events. For example, one morning I got out of bed, my wife was already up reading the newspaper in the living room. I staged an "accident" where I walked out groggy and rubbing my eyes. Then I tripped on her exercise ball, bounced off it, fell into the wall and reached out, grabbing the curling iron cords in the bathroom which came crashing down to the floor. Then struggled clumsily back up as if I was tangled in the cords and the ball in the hallway. When I looked at her, she was just shaking her head (not amused in the slightest.)
Remember Peter Sellers? He is my idol.
