Love doesn't go.
All the pleasant moments that you shared show you what can be, if maybe with someone else.
All the things that you saw have still changed you.
All the laughter, the tears, the happiness, the sorrow, the extacy at the beginning and the mourning at the end still exist in your memory.
The lessons you learned help you choose wisely when love next comes around. They help you to recognize what's good as well as what might be a difficult hurdle.
They help you to treat the other person with respect and dignity should you decide that they're not the one for you.
Love continues to exist in what we have learned.
Am I spewing? Or should I write for a greeting card company?
