i understand exactly how you're feeling sleepy. i too have had to 'let go' and put distance between my mother and myself. when she does call, it is some try of a guilt trip but what she won't accept or get help for is that her behavior is what keeps her children away. the anger, hatred and bitterness are too much. i used to allow it to consume me and had to realize, i cannot change her. she missed out on her children's lives and now her 3 grandsons and soon to be granddaughters life. i know it hurts at times but distance has been what is best for me. i never want to become like her and all you can do for the little ones you see being treated like you were is give them affection when you can. i know it's hard. ((((((((((sleepy))))))))))
