I don’t think it’s easier to be a lesbian. Sometimes relationships are frustrating whatever the gender of your partner. I suppose if the partner’s a man it’s easier to believe that his behaviour is a function of his gender (I don’t think I’ve ever heard a lesbian say, “That’s just like a woman!”).

Now being single… that might be easier. But it also has its disadvantages!
