This is not like having terminal cancer, where a lot of doctors would be willing to give you access to unlimited morphine. Depression is different. For many people, it passes. People recover or learn to cope. I did. Learned to cope. Therapy helped, especially DBT.

Id expect not to get locked up because i dont see the point in doing this.. To my mind it should be a personal freedom.Schizo-Affective, Socially anxious
