I think there are a fair number of areas where it's difficult to find any DBT at all. I'd also guess that any helpfulness that groups offer would only be possible in a very well run group.
Individual sounds reasonable to me, although I'm mostly ignorant on the topic.
New therapist? Can you manage two therapists? Would the DBT be full time? Or would this be in place of your new therapist?
