I don't know how long you've been seeing your T, but I know the first time my T went away (I had been seeing him about six months) I lost it completely. After that it was hard, but not as bad as the first time. My T never goes away for longer than two weeks, so I go only three weeks between appointments. I think I would lose it again if he went away for a month or more as some T's do.
