I have a bit more time to write now....
If this guy is someone you would typically be attracted to - well, heck this makes perfect sense. Of course you would wanna .ya know. We don't stop being human when we walk across the therapy room threshold.
If this guy is NOT someone you would normally wanna do eeeeet with...well, it may be transference. The obnoxious thing about transference is that it is SUBconscious so poor you don't have a clue that it is happening, until,...well it's too late.
So, you may not KNOW he reminds you of someone. But there may be something he says, or does, or some way he moves, or whatever...that does remind you...subconsciously. Bummer, eh?
Id stick it out just to try to get to know myself better. If it starts to interfere with therapy, or life (eeekkkI think about him 24x7!!!) ask to talk to him about it and disclose this info. He has been through it before. ALL therapists have. These feelings are NORMAL. Seriously. This board is full of people who have been attracted to their T. Including me!
Take care. Bay
