Hi Sid,
I am so glad to hear this. I had just asked you on Social if you had a T.
I have found that the sessions when I go in thinking, "I have nothing to talk about...I have no idea how this time will be spent" - those sessions without fail, have been the ones when I come to huge "ah-hah" realizations, or which turn out to be very beneficial sessions.
If going in not knowing what to say is too stressful, I guess a person could chose maybe a recent event that was upsetting, or some recent feelings that were upsetting, & talk about those. I also think it's important to be open with the therapist. In other words, voice what you voiced her to the therapist.
Glad to hear you're doing this Sid. I think this is really good self-care.
xoxo Kath
