Very little indeed on my mind

Posted by Dinah on August 30, 2009, at 13:56:48

After nearly two months of computer problems, my new computer came in and I'm going through the lengthy process of loading everything up, setting up backups, etc. I am totally immersed in that.

Also I've got some deadlines I'm working extra hard on.

Between the two, I'm barely aware of myself at all. I can't recall anything that happened more than five minutes ago. I am forgetting everything, having word substitution problems, have absolutely no sense of time, and I'm not feeling overly well.

So it's like I'm not even existing right now.

About all that I'm conscious of happening is that my dogs went on a diet last weekend. And just like my diets, I ended it on Wednesday. There must be something about the third or fourth day on a diet.... They were so wound up and irritable that I gave in and started free feeding again, although with low cal food this time.

(The little underweight guy was of course supplemented with high calorie canned food.)
