why was this so hard for me to hear? (si trigger)

Posted by Moonshadow on August 17, 2009, at 17:53:35

My new t/pdoc mentioned today that I have more scars than anyone she's ever seen. My visible scars are all years and years old. She's been a pdoc for a long time, and said she'd seen many people with scars.

I feel so horrible, like want's the point of trying to stop when I'm already awful? It makes me want to do more, even though I've been good at holding off. If I'm already "the worst", what are a few more? It's not like they'll ever go away anyhow.

Why would she say that? She chooses her words so carefully.I can't stop thinking about it. I'm so sad.
