Yeah, I did a Tibetan Buddhist thingo at a Transpersonal Psych Conferance. I was the very worst person to be doing what I now describe. You had to pick a partner at random and face each other. Then you put your hands on each others' hearts (so you could feel the heartbeat and therefore the anxiety). Then you were to stare into each others' eyes, and 'when the moment is right say "I know you"'. Well everyone there faked it. Surely they must have. God knows. I don't know what goes through the heads of the members of our species. But I just stood there, staring into her eyes feeling worse and worse. I should have said to her, looking deeply and meaningfully into her eyes, in a very serious voice 'Send for an ambulance'. Bugger that. I'd rather take a walk in the bush. Cheaper, and better for you too.
