I agree with TG. The therapist was in the wrong. If nothing else, it would be good for your friend to let the licensing board know what has happened so that this therapist doesn't hurt more patients.
I don't know how your friend sees it - how she felt about her therapist.
I think she could best get professional help to process this but you can also support her by being a good friend to her - be there for her when she needs someone to talk to. I imagine she must have a lot of feelings about what happened.
