well first i have to say THANK YOU for caring so much as to even ask the question.
i wish my DH were 1/2 as understanding and compassionate as you.
all i can respond is what 'i' would wish i could have.
and mostly that's for someone to Just 'be there'. to listen when i need it, to hold me when i can't use words. and to let me feel protected and safe.when i'm 'in those places' you talked about your girlfriend has been in, those are the most helpful things.
sometimes i need to talk about it, othertimes i need to just be near someone i trust.also doing what you can to get her professional help is Key. You are SO great in helping her that way as i'm sure her depression can be debilitating. sometimes i feel 'its not worth it', but since i already found a T and see her regularly i can tell myself 'its not worth it but i'll go anyway.
some T's will work from a sliding scale. mine does, and it helps Tremendously.best wishes and stick around.
b2c.
