Some irritability is as if there is no psychic skin and therefore everything is a little painful.
And having no psychic skin can make me feel like if only whoever it is would leave the house I would be able to think and maybe (after a decent interval) actually do something.
Maybe I feel more this way because I have just passed my daughter's new bf in the kitchen.....
'O hello'
'How are you?'
'Oh all right.'
daughter snickers.Note to self: Do not answer the 'How are you' question.
But yesterday we were in town and drove past a previous bf whom I had trouble recognising in his car, and when I did it was too late. Before too long he had texted my daughter 'So your Dad hates me?' She suggested not giving him the death stare.
Such is social life around here. I just have the school formal opening-dance father-daughter thing to look forward to.
Reality certainly sucks.
